I’m Clare.

Born and raised in Lutruwitta/Tasmania, Clare Hudson is a Magandjin/Brisbane-based singer-songwriter with a voice that’s equal parts soulful and jazzy. Known for her candid storytelling and captivating stage presence, Clare brings humour, heart, and connection to every performance.

In 2025, Clare launched her debut headline show 'Growing Pains' at Brisbane’s iconic vintage venue Can You Keep A Secret? - playing to a sold-out crowd. Drawing inspiration from artists like Missy Higgins, Ella Fitzgerald, and Dami Im, Clare weaves together heartfelt originals and powerful interpretations of pop, folk, and jazz classics.

Clare is also a passionate advocate for climate justice, gender equality, and LGBTQIA+ rights - values that guide her artistic practice.
